The New York Festivals Advertising Awards have announced the first 20 members of the executive jury led by Alex Schill, Global Chief Creative Officer & Partner of Serviceplan Group. Piyush Pandey, Worldwide Chief Creative Officer and Executive Chairman, India, represents India on the jury.
The jurors will convene between 31 March-3 April 2020 in New York City and will review the entries selected by the online NYF Grand Jury for quality and aesthetics in creative advertising.
Scott Rose, Executive Director, New York Festivals Advertising Awards, added, “NYF’s Executive Jury of respected creatives set the standard for award-winning work. All entries achieving shortlist status will be judged by this panel of renowned industry leaders ensuring that each entry is reviewed with meticulous care and consideration and with a global perspective.”
Ellen Smyth, CEO, New York Festivals, said, “For 10 years NYF has brought together an elite jury of global creatives with a reputation for innovation. We are beyond thrilled that these respected leaders will bring their attention to the 2020 New York Festivals Advertising Awards entries.”
Celebrating the World’s Best Work since 1957, the New York Festivals Advertising Awards describes its creed as “a simple way of telling clients and vendors that you are not interchangeable, that there is a standard of excellence in which quality and passion matter. It’s a reminder that the agencies who represent these values are truly the ones you want working for you and the ones you want to work for.”
New York Festivals holds advertising and programming competitions for the following brands: Advertising Awards, AME Awards ®, Global Awards ®, Midas Awards ®, Radio Awards, and TV & Film Awards.
This is the 10th consecutive year NYF’s Executive Jury will come together and the second year a Jury President will preside over this top panel of Chief Creative Officers and Executive Creative Directors from around the world. Jury President Schill, along with the 2020 Executive Jury, will gather in New York City in March for four days to select the World’s Best Advertising® across all mediums.
Schill has also previously been a Jury President and has served several stints as Jury President at Cannes Lions, CLIO, Eurobest, LIA, and at D&AD.
