Hyatt reinforces Leadership team in India and Southwest Asia Region

Hyatt Hotels Corporation has unveiled the expansion of its senior leadership squad in India and Southwest Asia, reaffirming the region’s pivotal role in Hyatt’s ambitious expansion strategies. The designation of Deepa Krishnan as Head of Marketing and Prasad Narulkar as Director of Digital signifies a notable stride toward enhancing Hyatt’s array of brands and providing distinctive guest experiences that epitomize Hyatt’s commitment to care.

Commenting on this strategic expansion a company spokesperson, expressed “We are happy to welcome this talented cohort of professionals who individually bring their seasoned expertise to their respective roles. With India & Southwest Asia among our key global growth markets, Hyatt has been thoughtfully expanding its portfolio in the destinations where our guests want to travel and will continue to do so in the coming year. The new team will collectively elevate our distinctive presence in these regions.”

Deepa Krishnan has been appointed as the Head – Marketing, India and Southwest Asia, at Hyatt. She will be instrumental in leading strategic marketing initiatives and brand development of Hyatt’s extensive portfolio within the region. With over 23 years of experience, Deepa has played a pivotal role in shaping marketing strategy, brand communication and fostering innovation in her various roles a Chief Marketing Officer, Head of Innovation etc. Deepa has worked at organisations like Tata Starbucks, Diageo, Godrej, Idea Cellular among others.

Bringing with him 16 years of versatile digital experience, Prasad Narulkar has assumed the role of Director – Digital for India and Southwest Asia at Hyatt India. His expertise encompasses accelerating the brand’s digital marketing strategy, propelling it towards new heights in the ever-evolving digital landscape. He has previously worked with brands like Porsche, Jaguar Land Rover, Mahindra & Mahindra, Godrej, IDBI Bank, and Jio.

Additionally, Anadita Singh, appointed as Senior Manager – Openings and Transitions for India and Southwest Asia to synergise growth efforts in the region.

Currently, Hyatt’s portfolio in India consists of 48 properties across eight brands including Andaz, Alila, Hyatt, Hyatt Regency, Hyatt Centric, Hyatt Place, Park Hyatt and Grand Hyatt. Hyatt also recently launched its global lifestyle brand, Jdv by Hyatt in Goa, and will be introducing The Unbound Collection brand in 2025.
