In response to the evolving needs and perspectives of a rising modern affluent customer base, HSBC has unveiled the official debut of the HSBC Premier Elite service—an upgraded banking offering “is meticulously crafted with tailored wealth solutions and unique lifestyle experiences, ensuring a banking experience that meets the high standards expected by high-value customers,” the bank said.
HSBC said it didn’t see this as another banking tier service launch. Instead, it repositioned the launch as if the brand was launching an exclusive wealth and lifestyle club within the tier.
To create allure and aspiration, the launch encompassed inner circle launch events. The campaign is led by actor and director Stephen Fung, alongside Tracy Chu, the 2012 Miss Hong Kong and barrister, Marco Fu, the three-time snooker ranking event winner, Oscar Wang, a multidisciplinary artist, Victoria Tang-Owen, a creative director and entrepreneur, and Evan Chow, an entrepreneur and art collector.
Mind, set. Wealth, set.
“Our decision to collaborate with Stephen Fung and other intellectuals who embody elite mindsets is deliberate,” said Cheuk Shum, Head of Marketing, Wealth and Personal Banking for HSBC Hong Kong.
“With Stephen’s extensive knowledge and expertise in acting and directing, he unquestionably represents the elite. He not only signifies HSBC’s commitment to exceptional wealth management but also personifies the distinctive mindsets and high standards anticipated for this new service, further invigorating our team. Our aim is to fulfill the demands of the elite clientele while ensuring that everyone can appreciate the outstanding work produced by Stephen and the accomplished team.”
