BBH India has named Nivedita Agashe Creative Director in its Mumbai Office. Reporting to BBH India’s Chief Creative Officer & Managing Partner, Russell Barrett, she will lead a team of copy, art, and design professionals.
With a little over a decade in advertising, Nivedita has worked with DDB Mudra, Taproot India, and Sideways Consulting and led campaigns for brands, such as Volkswagen, Airtel, Borosil Glassworks, Times of India, Mumbai Mirror, Stayfree, and The Taj Group, among others.
Nivedita has also won top honours at national and international award shows from the Abbys to Spikes Asia, and has also been a delegate at See It Be It, a programme curated by the Cannes Lions International Festival of Creativity to encourage and foster women creative leaders in advertising. She is also an accomplished poet and has written the lyrics for a Pune based folk-rock band called ‘Jaagar’.
Speaking on the appointment, Barrett said, “I’ve been keen to bring Nivedita on board for a few years now and I’m really happy to finally have her join our team. Nivedita comes with years of experience and is a brilliant writer as well as a strong ideas person. She is, both a lovely person and really brilliant with her craft and that makes her a perfect Blacksheep.”
