Unacademy, well-known Indian educational technology company has appointed Abhishek Malhotra as Associate Director for Brand Marketing.
Malhotra shared this update through a LinkedIn post, that stated, “Excited to share that I have joined Unacademy as Associate Director – Brand Marketing. Looking forward to learn and grow in the new role!.”
Abhishek Malhotra, MBA post-graduate in marketing and IT from Narsee Monjee Institute of Management Studies, comes with over a decade of experience in sales and marketing ranging from developing brand strategies and communication plan using data driven insights including segmentation, targeting, market analysis, market research, media trends and consumption insights. He started off his career journey as Intern at Ogilvy & Mather later moving to ICICI Bank and then to Cisco. He then worked as a gadget analyst and promoter for OnlyGizmos and was responsible for creating a marketing drive for promotion of the OnlyGizmos blog and also helped in organizing the Gizmomeet event in Delhi. He worked as Territory Sales Manager at Maruti Suzuki arena where he was responsible for achieving dealer-wise new car sales volume targets, increasing sales through focus on enquiry generation and its conversion, regional marketing initiatives to push sales and capture new market segments, enhancing market penetration through various sales promotion activities, ensuring dealership’s adherence to MSIL policies and Sales Operating Standards. Later he joined NEXA-Maruti Suzuki India. His last role at the company was brand manager for Swift and Alto. He was responsible for brand positioning and communication strategy.
