“Googlies on Google”: A Fun, Interactive Search Adventure Fueled by Curiosity

Ogilvy Mumbai has launched an innovative campaign for Google Search, titled โ€œGooglies on Google,โ€ aiming to transform the online search experience through the thrill of curiosity. Rooted in the excitement of discovery, the campaign invites users to dive into intriguing questions that inspire them to uncover surprising answers interactively.

Spanning six weeks, users will encounter 50 unique โ€œGoogliesโ€โ€”playful, unexpected questions that may seem straightforward but reveal surprising truths upon searching.

At its core, Googlies celebrates curiosity. Each โ€œDid you know?โ€ moment captivates users and encourages deeper exploration, gamifying the search experience to make learning both engaging and enjoyable.

Googlies will appear across various platforms, including social media, TV, outdoor billboards, newspapers, grocery aisles, and product packaging, turning ordinary moments into delightful opportunities for discovery. Each question transforms the mundane into joyful learning experiences, keeping users engaged.

The campaign enhances the search experience by blending curiosity with interactivity. โ€œGooglies on Googleโ€ opens up a world of knowledge, whether youโ€™re at home, on the go, or casually browsing.

โ€œAs creators, our goal with Googlies on Google was to transform the simple act of searching into something more โ€“ an interactive experience driven by curiosity, engagement, and delight,โ€ said Sukesh Nayak, Chief Creative Officer Ogilvy India.

Directed by Harshik Suraiya, the campaign went live on 22nd October 2024.
