Aiming to bring the world closer, India’s International Movement to Unite Nations(I.I.M.U.N) has launched a campaign, ‘Find A Bed’, India’s 1st national information repository to find the nearest COVID centre. The initiative has harnessed immense response from people across the nation.
Famous Bollywood celebrities, fashion designers, sportspersons, choreographers, singers, are the cause ambassadors of the innovative initiative. Karan Johar, Jacqueline Fernandes, Sonakshi Sinha, Shraddha Kapoor, Varun Dhawan, Chetan Bhagat, Kartik Aryan, Anita Dongre, Sania Mirza amongst 500+ numerous others have posted about the cause on instagram and other social media platforms.
Find A Bed has a team of around 26,000 students working across 160 cities in the country. The website lists all available beds in real time to help Covid-19 patients who are in urgent need of medical care. Not just in Delhi and Mumbai, the website shows available beds for Covid-19 patients in Uttar Pradesh as well. One just needs to type the city name or zip code and will get a list of centres available near them.
