Ogilvy Group Philippines Closes a Stellar Year with Accolades from 4As AOY, APAC SABRE, and Cannes Lions Creativity Rankings

The Ogilvy Group Philippines has been celebrated for outstanding creativity and strategic effectiveness this year, sweeping up multiple prestigious accolades. At the recent Philippines 4As Agency of the Year Awards, the group secured six major honors, including Best in Creative – Network Agency, 2024 Digital Agency of the Year, Best in Market Performance – Network Agency, Brand Experience Excellence – Best in Creativity and Effectiveness, Digital Agency of the Year – Best in Creativity and Innovation, and Digital Agency of the Year – Best in Creativity and Effectiveness.

In addition, Ogilvy achieved the top position as the #1 ranked agency in the Philippines in the 2024 Cannes Lions Creativity Ranking. Internationally, the group earned a Bronze Statue at the London International Awards in the Out of Home category. They further distinguished themselves at the 2024 Asia-Pacific SABRE Awards, receiving two SABRE awards for campaigns that exemplify creativity, strategic insight, and tangible impact.

โ€œThe 4As Agency of the Year Awards in particular highlighted campaigns that have captivated audiences and redefined their respective media categories. Notable campaigns such as โ€˜This Is An IKEA Storeโ€™, โ€˜KFC Instant Originalsโ€™, โ€˜Globe GFiber Prepaid Pamilya Kayaโ€™, โ€˜Ladyโ€™s Choice Dadโ€™s Choiceโ€™, โ€˜Milo Digidash,โ€™ and Mind You โ€˜House of Healersโ€™ illustrate Ogilvyโ€™s philosophy of creativity that drives tangible results,โ€ said Valdez.

Executive Creative Director, Chino Jayme, added: โ€œFor example, the โ€˜This Is An IKEA Storeโ€™ campaign revolutionized the retail experience by transforming over 900 locations into dynamic IKEA sampling sites, which directly led to unprecedented e-commerce performance for IKEA Philippines. This innovative approach not only earned IKEA its first Cannes Lion but also demonstrated the Ogilvy Groupโ€™s ability to creatively solve marketing challenges through effective engagement.โ€

โ€˜This is An IKEA Storeโ€™ also took home a Bronze at the London International Awards in the Out of Home -Instore and Transit Category.

Ogilvyโ€™s efforts in transforming Ladyโ€™s Choice into โ€œDadโ€™s Choiceโ€ marked a significant milestone as well in changing gender-biased narratives within the consumer goods sector.

โ€œThis campaign resonated deeply with audiences and resulted in double-digit growth for the brand, marking its first post-pandemic increase. By courageously addressing societal norms, Ogilvy sets a standard for ourselves for impactful creative strategies that resonate with contemporary audiences,โ€ said Executive Creative Director, Dino Ocampo.

Campaigns like House of Healers demonstrate as well a commitment to addressing societal issues. Working with Mind You helped provide mental health support to the gaming community, tackling stress and anxiety in a growing digital space. Similarly, Milo Digidash encouraged physical activity in young people by turning movement into an engaging mobile game, tackling the challenge of promoting fitness in a digital world. These campaigns delivered creativity with measurable impact, driving both brand and societal benefits.

KFC Instant Originals, on the other hand, tapped into the demand for authentic, user-generated content, empowering consumers to create their own personalized ads, fostering real-time engagement with younger audiences. This creative approach brought the brand closer to its target demographic, enhancing engagement in a way that felt personal and immediate.

The Sabres recognize earned campaigns and programs focused on creativity, strategic insight, and measurable impact. โ€˜GFiber Prepaid Pamilya Kaya Liveโ€™ demonstrated strategic insight by addressing consumer mistrust in internet services through a live-streamed reality show, effectively showcasing the reliability of Globe Telecomโ€™s fiber internet.
