Lion & Lion Indonesia appointed Jimmy Sutanto as Creative Director. Based in Jakarta, he is tasked with leading the market’s creative department, reporting directly to John Campbell-Bruce, Managing Director, Lion & Lion Indonesia, and Cheelip Ong, Regional Chief Creative Officer, Lion & Lion.
During his five-year stint with Ogilvy Myanmar which ended in 2021, Sutanto led the firm to win more than 10 new accounts as well as two industry awards – Campaign Asia’s Agency of the Year and Digital Agency of the Year, in 2018 and 2019 respectively. He has worked on clients across multiple industries including major brands such as The Coca-Cola Company, British American Tobacco, Samsung, Huawei, Nestle, and Myanmar’s second largest telecommunications provider, Telenor.
Sutanto brings more than 17 years of experience in the creative and advertising industry, having previously worked in agencies in Singapore, Indonesia and Myanmar. Prior to coming on board with Lion & Lion, he was Head of Creative for Ogilvy Myanmar.
