Havas Worldwide to handle Burger King’s digital duties

Burger King, an American-based multinational chain of hamburger fast food restaurants, headquartered in Miami-Dade County, Florida, has appointed Havas Worldwide to handle its digital duties. Havas Worldwide won the account without the multi-agency pitch. As per the terms of the mandate, the agency will be responsible for the brand’s digital campaigns, social media and online response management. Havas Worldwide India has been focusing on fortifying and updating its core expertise and offerings over the last two years.

Detailing about the association, Kapil Grover, Chief Marketing Officer, Burger King India said, “We are excited to have partnered with Havas Worldwide India, which comes with a track record of path-breaking digital campaigns for brands across markets and categories. We are confident that their expertise and market understanding will help us deliver innovative and groundbreaking digital campaigns; thereby further strengthening Burger King India to become the most lovable brand in the digital space. Founded in 1953 as Insta-Burger King, a Jacksonville, Florida–based restaurant chain. After Insta-Burger King ran into financial difficulties in 1954, its two Miami-based franchisees David Edgerton (1927–2018) and James McLamore (1926–1996) purchased the company and renamed it “Burger King”.
