Dentsu India promotes Sahil Shah to managing partner, WATConsult

WATConsult, the digital agency from the Isobar India Group has announced the elevation of Sahil Shah, erstwhile Chief Business Officer, to the role of managing partner. As per the terms of the new role, Shah will continue to report to Heeru Dingra, chief executive officer, Isobar India group, and will spearhead the agency operations. He will also be responsible for bringing in new business for the agency.

On taking up the new role, Shah said, “After spending a decade and more in building this agency, my heart fills with pride as I watch it grow stronger each day. Shah comes with over 13+ years of diverse communications experience in the Social & Digital Marketing space in India, he currently headed the PAN India regions for India’s leading Full Service Digital Media Agency- WATConsult (part of the prestigious and globally renowned Dentsu Aegis Network).His role pans across functions of servicing and media planning with P&L responsibilities at the core of it. He has worked across global & Indian brands like Nikon, Vivo Mobiles, Bajaj Allianz, Jack & Jones, Racold, SBI Life Insurance, DBS Bank, Eureka Forbes, etc. doing some award winning work across social & digital media, marketing technology, consumer insights, online-offline, video and more.

Throughout his professional journey, he has had the chance to consult more than 400 brands, win 170+ national and international metals, handle turnovers worth millions of dollars and lead large teams (160 employees) across various functions giving business solutions to clients using digital.

Shah has also been an active writer on leading portals covering India + APAC from a Digital POV, acting as an industry expert sharing views on everything digital, conducted trainings on Digital & Social Media Opportunities for large conglomerates in India and chaired Jury at various Creative & Media Awards across India.
