According to Amazon, advertising has always been part art and part science. To help its advertisers on the art side of things,ย Amazon Ads has launched image generation in betaโa generative AI solution designed to remove creative barriers and enable brands to produce lifestyle imagery that helps improve their adsโ performance.
An advertiser may have standalone images of their product against a white background, like a blender, for example, which can now be placed in a lifestyle contextโon a kitchen counter, next to a smoothie. According to Amazon, in a mobile Sponsored Brands ad, click-through rates can be 40% higher compared to ads with standard product images.
