JIDVEI UNVEILS XO BRANDY WITH REFINED VISUAL IDENTITY

Romanian wine producer Jidvei has launched its first premium brandy, Jidvei XO, marking a milestone in its portfolio. Design studioย 43oz.comย crafted the complete visual identity, including silkscreen bottle decoration and a gift box. The packaging emphasizes clarity, balance, and timelessness, translating heritage and craftsmanship into a unified premium aesthetic.ย

Jidvei, one of Romaniaโ€™s most respected wine producers, has stepped into the premium spirits category with the launch of Jidvei XO, its first brandy. To mark this milestone, the company partnered with 43oz.com Design Studio to create a visual identity that reflects both heritage and modern refinement.

The studioโ€™s approach was rooted in clarity, balance, and timelessness. Deep tones and carefully composed graphic elements were chosen to convey status without excess, while silkscreen printing techniques added richness to the bottleโ€™s decoration. The accompanying gift box was conceived not as an accessory but as an integral part of the design system, reinforcing the bottleโ€™s presence and ensuring a coherent visual language across the product.

Rather than building an elaborate narrative or indulging in evocative storytelling, the design focused on precision and detail. Every elementโ€”from the disciplined composition to the interplay of texturesโ€”was intended to highlight craftsmanship and premium positioning. The result is packaging that speaks directly to exclusivity, allowing the brandy itself to take centre stage.

With Jidvei XO, the producer not only expands its portfolio but also signals its ambition to compete in the premium spirits market, presenting a product where design and tradition meet in a seamless expression of luxury.
