Following their departure from Dentsu Webchutney, Gautam Reghunath and PG Aditiya have launched a new agency called Talented, which they say โpromises to build a creative agency that returns the advertising industryโs focus back to its talent.โ

Reghunath, who was CEO at Dentsu Webchutney, and Aditiya who was CCO, say that they have โa few radical ideasโ they believe can fundamentally alter the agency business โ including employee ownership along with โstronger skin in the game relationships with clients.โ
โWe love the agency business. But the world certainly doesnโt need another advertising agency,โ the pair said in a release.
โWhat we believe it does need is a serious re-imagination of the agency experience โ both for clients and for the talent in advertising. With Talented, weโre starting-up because we have some ideas that we believe can fundamentally alter what our business means, first for those working in it and then therefore for our clients.โ
โWe want to build a workplace where what every member of the leadership & its youngest colleagues think and say about the company, are the exact same. Where our actions and policies back up our words and press releases. Our hope is to create an ambitious, world-class, creative company with a big heart โ addressing age-old advertising tropes like pay, work-hours, inequity, lack of employee ownership, lack of ESOPs and our industryโs looming irrelevance while at it. We all know perfectly well what needs to improve in the agency business: we just plan to execute it to perfection. Thereโs so much we can learn from our friends in tech.โ
Reghunath first joined Dentsu Webchutney in 2010 as an account manager, while Aditiya joined as a copywriter in 2012. The pair left the agency together in October 2021.
