Spark Foundry Reshapes Leadership, Recruits Top Omnicom Executive

In a bold leadership revamp, Spark Foundry, a key player under Publicis Media, has made significant high-profile appointments aimed at strengthening its investment and creative capabilities. The agency has welcomed Kelly Metz, formerly the Chief Investment Officer at OMD, to take on the same role at Spark Foundry. Metz will be responsible for overseeing the agencyโ€™s investment strategy and driving innovation across media buying. Her arrival coincides with the transition of Lisa Giacosa, Spark Foundryโ€™s former CIO, into a new position focused on global clients and agency transformation.

Further reinforcing its investment division, Spark Foundry has also brought in Anthony Dario, another senior executive from Omnicom Media Group. Dario, previously Managing Director of Enterprise Partnerships, will now lead national video investments, leveraging his expertise to refine Spark Foundryโ€™s approach to premium video buys. These strategic hires follow a pattern of executive movement between major media networks, with OMD having recently recruited senior talent from Publicis Groupe.

Beyond media investment, Spark Foundry is expanding its design and creative strategy. The agency has tapped Kendra Hatcher King, a former executive at Accenture Song and a Publicis alum, to spearhead the launch of a new design practice. Her role will focus on integrating design thinking into media planning and brand experiences, reinforcing Spark Foundryโ€™s commitment to holistic marketing solutions.

With these high-caliber appointments, Spark Foundry is making a decisive push to fortify its leadership ranks, enhance investment strategies, and introduce new creative capabilities, positioning itself for continued growth and innovation in an increasingly competitive media landscape.
