OGILVY INDONESIA NAMES KAPIL ARORA AS CEO, SUCCEEDING SIEG PENAVERDE

Ogilvy Indonesia has appointed Kapil Arora as its new CEO, effective January 1, 2026, succeeding Sieg Penaverde after six years. Arora, with 24 years of experience at Agli, has led major client relationships and strengthened the agency’s integrated capabilities in Indonesia.

Ogilvy Indonesia has announced a leadership change, with Kapil Arora taking over as CEO effective January 1, 2026. Arora succeeds Sieg Penaverde, who is stepping down after six years to pursue a new opportunity. Arora, a 24-year veteran of Ogilvy, has held various leadership roles across five offices, including heading the Vodafone business in India and leading Ogilvy Delhi.

As COO of Ogilvy Indonesia since 2024, Arora has worked closely with Penaverde to strengthen client partnerships and build the agency’s integrated offering. He has managed key client relationships, including Nestlé, Azko, SMBC, Kimberly-Clark, and Mastercard, and has driven the expansion of Indonesia-first client partnerships.

“I’m genuinely excited and honoured to lead our operation in this market,” Arora said. “Our clients and our people are extraordinary, and I’ve seen first-hand the scale of potential in our talent and our connected capabilities”.

Kunal Jeswani, CEO of Ogilvy ASEAN, praised Penaverde’s leadership and welcomed Arora as the new CEO. “His energy, vision, and commitment to our clients and people will power the next phase of Ogilvy’s growth in Indonesia,” Jeswani said.
