Lahiri brings a rich blend of newsroom, corporate, and investment experience. He has previously held leadership roles in financial journalism at Bloomberg TV India and CNBC TV18, where he helped shape business news coverage and programming strategy. His strong editorial grounding is complemented by his tenure in corporate strategy at The Times Group, giving him a deep understanding of audience behaviour, media economics, and brand-building at scale.
Before joining NDTV, Lahiri served as Investment Director โ Asia at MDIF, a global media development investment fund, leading regional investment strategy. His work involved supporting independent media organisations across Asia, giving him a strategic vantage point on sustainable media models and the future of digital-first journalism.
