Monks Japan has strengthened its creative leadership with the appointment of Yohei Adachi as group creative director. Adachi brings a wealth of experience in crafting culturally resonant campaigns for global brands, and will work alongside managing director Yukiko Ochiai to lead the creative vision for Amazon, one of Monks’ key partners.
Adachi’s career has taken him from New York’s fashion scene to leading creative roles at top agencies like BBH Tokyo and Wieden+Kennedy Tokyo. He’s worked on iconic campaigns for brands like Nike, Axe, and Sony, blending storytelling with design thinking to create impactful work.
At Monks Japan, Adachi will focus on developing integrated campaigns that drive real results for clients. “What interested me about Monks is how they bring together creativity, data, and technology,” he said. “I’m excited to collaborate with the team to create work that truly resonates and drives impact.”
