Flipkart Highlights the Importance of Small Purchases in Hilarious New Campaign by FCB Kinnect

FCB Kinnect’s latest campaign for Flipkart sheds light on a relatable insight: as people focus on the bigger, more prominent things in life, it’s easy to forget the small, seemingly insignificant items. Tapping into this, Flipkart, the Bengaluru-based e-commerce giant, is launching the ‘Big Sale of Small Things’ to remind shoppers of the everyday essentials that are often overlooked in the excitement of shopping during the Big Billion Days (BBD) Sale.

The campaign revolves around a witty 30-second ad that humorously highlights those frequently forgotten purchases, such as fashion accessories, lifestyle items, books, small electronics, home dรฉcor, and more. Through this lighthearted approach, Flipkart encourages shoppers to pay attention to the little things that make a big difference, positioning these often-overlooked items as key to completing their BBD Sale shopping experience.

Simply put, small things have big discounts on Flipkartโ€™s โ€˜Big Sale of Small Thingsโ€™. True to the distinctive tone of bizarre humour, this campaign has the internet in splits.

Neville Shah, CCO, FCB Kinnect, said, โ€œWeโ€™ve always said, the idea comes first. And thatโ€™s what has won here. A simple thought that makes you think. What do we do when we need small things? Making that funny was a whole other story. But so much fun working on these with the team. Truly gratifying.โ€

Rohan Mehta, CEO, FCB Kinnect & FCB/SIX India, added, โ€œBeing a fully integrated agency is what we set out to be โ€“ and this, our first campaign for Flipkart goes to show what we can do when we leverage all our offerings to service the idea best. A perfect example of how creativity can be an economic multiplier.โ€
