Dentsu Creative names Romit Nair as National Creative Director

Romit Nair, former national creative director at FCB Ulka, has joined Dentsu Creative in a similar capacity.

During his time at FCB Ulka Bangalore, Romit Nair played a pivotal role in transforming the agencyโ€™s creative department, driving its growth both in size and capabilities. Under his leadership, the team took on major projects for a wide range of prestigious clients, including PepsiCo, Airtel, GSK, ITC, Hero, TVS, and Tata Motors. His hands-on approach to creative leadership led to the production of over 150 ad films, many of which received critical acclaim within the industry. His work earned him numerous awards, reflecting his ability to craft compelling campaigns that resonated with both brands and audiences alike.

Nair’s journey in advertising began as a creative director at Wunderman Thompson, where he honed his skills in conceptualizing and executing impactful campaigns. He later broadened his experience at Sapient, further developing his expertise in creative problem-solving and brand storytelling. Over the years, Nair has become highly regarded for his proficiency in leading teams, crafting short-form content, driving business development, and offering innovative solutions to complex creative challenges. His deep understanding of both the creative and strategic aspects of advertising has made him a key figure in the industry.

In July, Dentsu Creative India appointed Abhijat Bharadwaj as Chief Creative Officer of Dentsu Creative Isobar. Bharadwaj’s new role involves further strengthening the agencyโ€™s creative output and nurturing the talented team that has been built over the years. The company emphasized his responsibility to continue enhancing Dentsu Creative Isobarโ€™s reputation for producing innovative and impactful work.
