In a major industry move, Harman Bawejaโs Baweja Studios, known for its socially relevant and compelling films, has partnered with Sidharth Jainโs House of Talkies for a landmark three-project deal. This collaboration aims to push the boundaries of cinematic storytelling, innovation, and thought-provoking narratives, marking an exciting new chapter for both production houses.
Currently riding high on the success of Mrs., the Sanya Malhotra-starrer that has ignited conversations around invisible labor by women, Baweja Studios continues to champion impactful storytelling. On the other hand, Sidharth Jain, celebrated for his knack for disruptive, high-quality content, leads House of Talkies, a production house dedicated to multi-format storytelling. His debut Netflix series, Trial By Fireโwhich premiered on January 13, 2023โearned widespread critical acclaim, culminating in a Filmfare OTT Award for Best Series (Critics).

With this powerful alliance, Baweja Studios and House of Talkies are set to deliver cinematic experiences that captivate, challenge, and inspire audiences like never before.
Elated upon joining hands with Sidharth, Producer Harman Baweja says, “Harman Baweja’s Quote “Great storytelling requires courage, and thatโs exactly what Sidharth brings to the table. When I watched Trial By Fire, I saw a creator unafraid to tackle difficult narratives with sensitivity and depth. At Baweja Studios, we have always believed in telling stories that resonate on a deeper levelโwhether itโs Mrs. highlighting a sensitive issue or Khwaabon Ka Jhamela that showcased the complexities of relationships and personal growth. This three-film deal with House of Talkies is an exciting opportunity to merge our creative strengths and build stories that challenge, inspire, and entertain. Sidharthโs sharp storytelling sensibilities, combined with our shared passion for content with substance, make this partnership a perfect fit. Iโm hoping that together, we will create films that leave a lasting impact on audiences.”

Commenting on it, Producer Sidharth Jain said, โBaweja Studios has built a strong reputation for bringing meaningful stories to lifeโMrs. being a recent example of their fearless approach to socially relevant cinema. Harman has a rare ability to balance thought-provoking narratives with commercial appeal, and thatโs exactly the kind of synergy we need in todayโs evolving content landscape. With this three-project deal, we aim to develop stories that are bold, immersive, and emotionally compelling. At House of Talkies, we strive to break conventions and create cinema that engages and challenges audiences, as we did with Trial By Fire. This collaboration is an exciting step forward, and I believe our combined strengths will result in films that redefine storytelling in Indian cinemaโ
As Baweja Studios continues to make its mark on Indian cinema, its upcoming slate reflects a commitment to diverse and compelling storytelling. One of its highly anticipated projects, Dil Ka Darwaza Kholna Darling, directed by Vikas Bahl, features an ensemble cast including Jaya Bachchan, Siddhant Chaturvedi, and Wamiqa Gabbi. With Bahlโrenowned for Queen and Super 30โat the helm, expectations are soaring for this unique cinematic experience. Additionally, the studio is collaborating with Delhi Crime creator Richie Mehta and Imagine Entertainment on Boy From Andaman, further solidifying its reputation for bold, thought-provoking narratives.
Meanwhile, House of Talkies, a sibling company of Sidharth Jainโs The Story Ink, continues to dominate Indiaโs book-to-screen adaptation space. As the countryโs leading IP powerhouse, The Story Ink represents 500+ stories, 200+ authors, and 100+ screenwriters, making it a key player in bringing literature to life on screen. House of Talkies has also built a strong development slate of films and series, securing deals with major OTT platforms and studios, ensuring a steady stream of high-quality, multi-format storytelling in the years to come.
