As Publicis Groupe prepares to celebrate its 100th anniversary, the company is launching a unique AI-driven short film that recounts its remarkable history. “A Lion Never Gives Up” is a visually stunning tribute that blends live action with generative AI 2D and 3D imaging to retell the Groupe’s defining moments, from its humble beginnings in 1926 to its current status as a global marketing giant.
The film, created by Publicis Conseil and produced by Prodigious Paris, is a testament to the company’s resilience and ability to reinvent itself in the face of challenges. “Over the last 100 years, we have gone from a tiny little shop in Paris to the No. 1 player in the industry,” said Arthur Sadoun, Chairman and CEO of Publicis Groupe. “We might not be the largest, but we are still the most valuable… What we have tried to express through the film is the notion that we are about resilience and reinvention.”
The film features the iconic voice of Edith Piaf, a friend of the company’s founder, Marcel Bleustein-Blanchet, and takes viewers on a journey through the Groupe’s major milestones, including its survival during World War II and its current position as a leader in the marketing industry.
