Edge Marketing strengthens AI-led search capability with appointment of Luke Gosha

Gold Coast. February 16, 2026: Edge Marketing has announced the appointment of internationally recognised, award-winning AI and SEO specialist, Luke Gosha, as its new Head of Search & AI Strategy. Goshaโ€™s appointment marks a significant strategic investment in unlocking new growth opportunities for both current and future Edge clients, as AI reshapes brand discovery across search engines and LLMs

In his role, Gosha will lead Edgeโ€™s SEO and AI strategy, focusing on translating global best practice into scalable, revenue-driving outcomes for brands operating in Australia. His remit includes identifying emerging growth opportunities created by AI-led search, integrating advanced SEO and AI methodologies into client strategies, and mentoring Edgeโ€™s senior search specialists to ensure the agency remains ahead of industry change.

Gosha joins Edge from London-based brand & performance agency StrategiQ, where he previously served as Head of Search & AI. London is widely regarded as one of the most advanced and commercially competitive environments for SEO and AI globally. His appointment gives Edge clients direct access to insights, frameworks and approaches that have been tested under intense market pressure and proven to deliver results.

Edge CEO and Director Rohan Dwyer said the appointment was driven by opportunity, not uncertainty.

โ€œAt Edge, we believe AI-driven search represents one of the most significant commercial opportunities the industry has seen in decades. This is a senior, business-critical role at the centre of how Edge will safeguard existing client performance, but to also actively help our clients gain competitive advantage by applying proven AI-led search.  We see this shift as a massive opportunity for businesses that are prepared to lead,โ€ Dwyer explained.

โ€œOur global search was about finding someone who has already succeeded in a market where AI-led search is advanced, highly competitive and commercially proven. Luke brings that experience, along with the ability to translate it into practical, measurable outcomes for Australian clients.โ€

Gosha brings more than a decade of international experience across agency and in-house environments, spanning technical excellence, commercial leadership and service innovation. His background includes embedding AI into real-world workflows, performance frameworks and scalable growth strategies across diverse industries.

According to Dwyer, it was this ability to turn technological change into commercial advantage that set Gosha apart.

โ€œLuke stood out immediately for his growth mindset. He understands how to convert complexity into opportunity, and that capability will be invaluable for our clients as search continues to evolve,โ€ he said.

Dwyer added that cultural alignment was equally important.

โ€œAbove all, we were looking for a great human. Luke embodies the values-driven culture we care deeply about at Edge, and weโ€™re excited about what this means for our clients and our team.โ€

Commenting on his appointment, Gosha said he was excited to bring proven global thinking into the Australian market.

โ€œHaving been involved in search marketing for well over a decade, Iโ€™ve helped many brands navigate the changing nature of search.  Having been based in the UK for most of my career Iโ€™m looking forward to bringing my skills, expertise and character to Edge, that creates a genuine competitive advantage for Edgeโ€™s clients,โ€ Gosha said.

โ€œEdge has a clear vision for how AI can be used to drive growth, not just efficiency, and Iโ€™m excited to work with a team that is focused on long-term client outcomes.โ€

Based at Edgeโ€™s Burleigh Heads head office, Gosha will report directly to CEO and Director Rohan Dwyer. His appointment is effective immediately.
