VMLY&R Thailand has announced the appointment of Anuwat Nitipanont as Chief Creative Officer. This follows his resignation as Chief Creative Officer at BBDO Bangkok in October last year.
In the new position he will report directly to Yupin Muntzing, Chief Executive Officer of VMLY&R Thailand, joining a regional team of creative leaders headed up by Valerie Madon, Chief Creative Officer Asia.
A widely respected award-winning creative leader known as “Bert”, Nitipanont has been at the forefront of Thailand’s advertising industry, his work has earned over 300 creative and effectiveness awards, from major international and local advertising award shows around the world.
Most recently CCO at BBDO Bangkok, he has also worked at networks including OgilvyOne and MRM.
“Anuwat’s winning track record speaks for itself, but his industry contribution is even more telling,” said Valerie Madon.
“Judging at awards, mentoring young talent, and his commitment to programs like Cannes Young Lions are all about celebrating and nurturing the future of creativity – values we hold very dear here at VMLY&R.”
Nitipanont added, “Through what I’ve learnt across multiple disciplines, I truly believe that creativity together with technology and data, inspire and augment the power of business solutions. VMLY&R is great fit with my beliefs, being an agency that creates connected brands by harnessing creativity, technology, and culture.”
