This pioneering initiative is aimed at addressing the mobility and safety needs of female riders while creating flexible earning opportunities for women drivers.
Exclusively designed for female riders, Uber Moto Women connects women passengers with women drivers for on-demand two-wheeler rides, ensuring a secure and comfortable travel experience.
The service integrates advanced, technology-led safety features to ensure every ride is secure and seamless. Riders can share trip details with up to five trusted contacts, enabling real-time tracking. Features such as phone number anonymization and hidden drop-off addresses further enhance user privacy.
To provide proactive safety, Uber Moto Women includes Uber’s innovative RideCheck system, which detects irregularities such as long stops, mid-way drops, or route deviations, offering prompt support when needed. Additionally, both riders and drivers can access Uber’s 24×7 Safety Helpline, which prioritizes women-centric support to address concerns efficiently.
