FCB Interface has appointed Swati Balani as its new Executive Creative Director, marking her return to the FCB network after nearly two years at BBH India, where she also served as ECD. Balani announced the move in a recent LinkedIn post, generating buzz across the industry.

With over 16 years of rich experience in advertising and marketing, Balani brings a strong creative pedigree shaped by stints at leading agencies including Ogilvy, DDB Mudra, AutumnGrey, Sideways Consulting, and a previous tenure at FCB. Her portfolio spans an impressive range of categories—fintech, healthcare, BFSI, consumer durables, tech startups, FMCG, and more—making her a well-rounded creative leader.

Throughout her career, she has worked with a host of iconic brands such as ITC, Burger King, USL Diageo, Microsoft, P&G, PepsiCo, and Aditya Birla, consistently delivering breakthrough campaigns rooted in insight and innovation.

Among her standout achievements is the launch of PepsiCo India’s first-ever AR campaign for Slice, which turned the spotlight on the inspiring stories of COVID warriors—substituting traditional branding with powerful storytelling. She also led the creative launch of Microsoft’s first AI chatbot in India and helped craft Diageo’s consumer-first UGC-led gifting portfolio.

Balani’s work has earned her several national and international accolades. Her campaign for Netmeds, #SilenceCancerNotItsFight, secured a Gold at the Red Abbys. In 2023, she was also recognised as a Social Samosa Superwoman, a testament to her influence and leadership in the industry.

With her return to FCB, Balani is expected to play a pivotal role in driving the agency’s creative vision forward, blending innovation with purpose-driven storytelling.
