Bollywood superstar Ranveer Singh has ventured into the health and wellness industry by co-founding SuperYou, a revolutionary protein foods and supplements brand, in collaboration with Think9 Consumer. The brand aims to redefine protein consumption in India by offering innovative, affordable, and accessible options tailored to the modern lifestyle.
The flagship product, India’s first-ever protein wafer bars, is already making waves in the market. Available in four delectable flavors—chocolate, choco-peanut butter, strawberry crème, and cheese—the bars promise a unique blend of taste and nutrition, catering to both fitness enthusiasts and snack lovers alike.
Ranveer Singh, who co-founded the brand alongside Nikunj Biyani, has also invested in SuperYou, joining forces with Think9 Consumer to scale the business. The brand aims to reach INR 40-50 crore in revenue within the next 18-24 months, with an ambitious goal of achieving INR 500 crore in the next five years.
Commenting on the launch, Singh emphasized the importance of accessible nutrition for the Indian audience. “SuperYou is about bringing quality protein products to everyone, breaking barriers of affordability and accessibility. This is not just a brand; it’s a movement to empower people to prioritize their health without compromising on taste,” he said.
The initiative reflects a growing trend among celebrities investing in wellness-oriented ventures, addressing the increasing demand for innovative health products in India. With SuperYou, Singh and Think9 aim to set new benchmarks in the protein foods market.
SuperYou, co-founded in 2024 by Singh and Biyani, aims to disrupt the protein industry with its innovative use of fermented yeast protein technology. The brand’s mission is to provide protein-rich products that cater not just to fitness enthusiasts but to anyone looking to lead a healthier lifestyle. “Ranveer Singh embodies the idea of living life to its fullest—that’s what SuperYou is all about,” Biyani added.
This investment is part of a larger trend where Bollywood stars are actively investing in companies, with many using their minority stakes as endorsement deals. Singh’s other investments include popular brands like Sugar Cosmetics, BoAt, and Bold Care, joining a list of actors such as Alia Bhatt, who backed SuperBottoms, Sachin Tendulkar, who funded Spinny, and MS Dhoni, who invested in Shaka Harry.
With plans to expand its offerings into categories like biscuits, protein powders, and breakfast cereals, SuperYou is poised to take on the packaged food industry. Its presence will soon be felt on major platforms like Amazon, Flipkart, and in stores across 10 cities.
