JioStar has announced the appointment of Mahesh Shetty as the Head of Client Engagement and Cross-Screen Leverage, a key position aimed at driving the company’s multi-platform advertising strategy. Shetty, a seasoned media professional with over two decades of experience in media and sales, is set to bring his extensive expertise to this pivotal role.
Prior to joining JioStar, Shetty held the position of Head of Network Sales at Viacom18, where he played a crucial role in shaping network sales strategies and building strong client relationships. His tenure at Radio Mirchi was equally noteworthy, where he served as Chief Operating Officer and Chief Strategy Officer, gaining valuable insights into media operations and strategic planning. His leadership in these roles has established him as a trusted name in the media and entertainment industry.
In his new capacity at JioStar, Shetty will focus on fostering deeper client partnerships and enhancing brand engagement across the company’s vast range of platforms, including television, digital, and OTT. A critical aspect of his responsibilities will be to create a seamless and cohesive advertising experience across multiple screens, aligning with the evolving demands of advertisers and audiences alike.
Shetty will report directly to Ajit Varghese, Head of Revenue, Entertainment, and International at JioStar. Together, they will collaborate to innovate and drive revenue growth for the company, leveraging JioStar’s integrated platform capabilities.
