Louise Pedersen Returns to All3Media International as CEO

Louise Pedersen, current Playground Television MD in the UK, is all set to return to All3Media International as CEO. Pedersen spent 10 years leading the super-indie distributor before making a move to Playground Television to set up their UK division in January 2015. Pedersen’s role at Playground Television has seen her focus on high end British drama alongside its co-production slate.

She was replaced by former Zodiak Rights exec Macallister, who has opted for “a change of direction” after 25 years in the TV business, the company said in a statement. He will take the rest of the year off before embarking on new ventures.

“The prospect of Louise returning to All3Media International is very exciting,” said All3Media CEO Jane Turton in a statement. “Her knowledge of the international production and distribution market is second to none and that, coupled with her leadership skills and strategic vision, makes her a very natural choice as the chief executive of such an important and central part of the All3Media Group.”

Pedersen said “All3Media is a company that is close to my heart and I am really thrilled to be returning to the new CEO role at All3Media International. Jane and the All3Media team have added some exciting companies to the fantastic group of All3Media production businesses in the last 18 months and I am really looking forward to working with them all and bringing their shows to international audiences.”

All3Media International is the distribution arm of All3Media Group, which is jointly owned by Discovery Communications and Liberty Global. It comprises 21 companies, including Objective Media Group, Studio Lambert, All3Media America, Lion Television, Maverick Television and One Potato, Two Potato.
