LePub Singapore has appointed Stephan Schwarz as its new Executive Creative Director to lead its Asia-Pacific headquarters.
In this role, Schwarz will collaborate closely with Bruno Bertelli, Global CEO of LePub and CCO of Publicis Worldwide, and Ajay Thrivikraman, Chief Creative Officer of Publicis Groupe Southeast Asia. He will also share leadership responsibilities with Hanh Kanssen, General Manager for APAC at LePub Singapore. Schwarz’s appointment comes at a time of growth for LePub in the region, building on the momentum the agency has gained since its launch in late 2022.
Schwarz joins LePub following his pivotal role in securing Singapore’s first-ever Grand Prix at the Cannes Lions this year. His career began in public relations and corporate communications, but in 2012, he transitioned into advertising, drawn by the creative potential and the challenge of nurturing innovative ideas.
He moved to Singapore in 2022 – a gateway to some of the fastest-growing markets in the world. Schwarz has worked with world-class brands in sectors ranging from FMCG to F&B, retail and aerospace, collecting many awards along the way from shows like Cannes Lions, D&AD, One Show, and Clios.
LePub Singapore, a part of Publicis Groupe, is behind a series of innovative campaigns in 2024 including Heineken Korea’s LaundroMatch, which won Bronze in Cannes this year; Enjoy the Smoothness, created for Heineken Vietnam in collaboration with Leo Burnett Vietnam; and Playbrary for Singapore’s National Library Board. It exists to help brands live in culture using data, creativity, and tech, backed by its innovation wing, LeGarage and has won 9 Cannes Lions since its launch 2 years ago.
