Flipkart has announced the promotion of Viveka Sra to the position of Director, Brand Marketing. Previously serving as the Associate Director of Brand Marketing, Sra has played a key role in shaping Flipkart’s branding and marketing strategies, driving impactful campaigns and consumer engagement.
Sra brings a wealth of experience to her new role, drawing from a diverse and accomplished career. Before joining Flipkart, she held the position of Senior Brand Manager at Unilever, where she honed her expertise in consumer insights, brand positioning, and marketing strategy. She also interned in Sales and Marketing at Hindustan Unilever Ltd., further solidifying her foundation in the fast-moving consumer goods (FMCG) sector.
In addition to her FMCG experience, Sra has worked as an Associate Applications Engineer at Oracle, showcasing her versatility and ability to navigate different industries. She also gained hands-on experience as a Project Intern, further broadening her professional skill set.
An alumnus of the Indian Institute of Management (IIM), Bengaluru, Sra’s academic background reflects her strategic and analytical approach to marketing. Her career spans a wide array of expertise across the marketing spectrum, including brand building, crafting and positioning, consumer activations, digital marketing, and omnichannel sales strategies. Her contributions have significantly impacted both consumer-packaged goods and fast-moving durables sectors, making her an invaluable asset in her field.
