Creative production studio electriclime° has announced the signing of celebrated director Joe Connor to its roster, extending his representation across the MENA and APAC regions. Known for his cinematic storytelling and visually arresting style, Connor brings a wealth of experience from his work with globally recognized brands and artists. His addition to the electriclime° roster strengthens the studio’s directorial offering, adding a bold creative voice to its lineup across key markets.
This partnership marks a significant step in electriclime°’s mission to collaborate with visionary filmmakers and deliver compelling content for audiences across the Middle East and Asia-Pacific.
“Hailing from the north of England, Joe’s films are cinematic and rich in storytelling, creating work for some of the world’s leading brands and also music videos,” said a release adding that Connor has helmed campaigns for Land Rover, Louis Vuitton, Ariat, Volvo and more, while also shooting films with celebrities such as Emma Stone and BLACKPINK’s Lisa.
Aside from the commercial space, he also has a major back catalogue in music videos, including helping launch ‘Harry’s House’, Harry Styles’ Grammy-winning album, and massive music stars including Sam Smith, The Rolling Stones and Coldplay.
Joe Connor’s work has earned acclaim on the global stage, garnering nominations at prestigious award shows such as Cannes Lions, D&AD, British Arrows, 1.4 Awards, Creative Circle, and an impressive seven nods from the UK Music Video Awards (UKMVA).
Beyond the screen, Connor co-founded the avant-garde theatre collective Parrot {in the} Tank, through which he has crafted innovative performances for renowned institutions including the Institute of Contemporary Arts, The Roundhouse, The Prague Scenofest, and The Arts Theatre, showcasing his diverse creative vision across mediums.
