Dentsu India elevates Rahul Vengalil to managing partner, Isobar

Isobar, the creative experience agency from dentsu India, has promoted Rahul Vengalil to the role of managing partner. He will report into Heeru Dingra, chief executive officer (CEO), Isobar India group. Vengalil’s digital expertise cuts across capabilities in business transformation, strategy, branding, experience, and innovation.

Vengalil’s first stint with Isobar India was in the year 2011 when he joined the agency as senior group head. Vengalil moved on from Isobar at the start of 2017 to launch his own Audit & Digital transformation company – What Clicks, and returned to the agency in 2020.

Welcoming Vengalil to the team, Heeru Dingra, CEO, Isobar India Group, said, “The solutions we offer are led by talents who possess extraordinary skillsets. Vengali has spent over 13 years in media business. He started his career journey, as an entrepreneur, promoting a lifestyle tabloid in Kerala. The primary responsibility that he had was the ad sales & distribution of the tabloid among the young IT professionals in Cochin & Trivandrum. Over the years, he has done media sales, advertising, managed teams & also managed PnL. He has worked with leading digital media agencies like Interactive Avenues (2 yrs) and was instrumental in setting up Isobar in South India, where he has worked for 5 years. Today, he is in the business of helping people identify How, Where & Why they are having in-efficiency to the digital spends, via the company that he have cofounded, What Clicks.

He have had the opportunity to work with brands from all categories of business. Few of the categories he has worked on are Automobile, Retail, Lifestyle, FMCG, eCommerce, Travel, Hospitality. Consumer Electronics, IT & ITES, Media & Entertainment & Real Estate.
