Caroline So Appointed Head of Account Management at We Are Social Singapore

We Are Social Singapore has announced the appointment of Caroline So as its new Head of Account Management. In her role, So will oversee the agency’s account teams, ensuring seamless collaboration and delivery of We Are Social’s core offerings. She is tasked with driving organic growth across existing client accounts, spearheading new business initiatives, and refining operational models to enhance service efficiency and client satisfaction.

With a focus on fostering strong client relationships and aligning the agency’s expertise with client goals, So will play a critical role in advancing We Are Social’s reputation for innovation and impact in the social and digital marketing space. She will report directly to Managing Director Nai Yen Wang, contributing to the agency’s leadership and strategic direction. So’s appointment highlights We Are Social’s commitment to strengthening its account management capabilities and delivering exceptional results for its diverse portfolio of clients.

“Having previously worked with Caroline before, I know she is an incredibly effective operator and team leader, She has a proven track record for fostering strong client relationships, driving new and organic growth, and brings a wealth of experience, especially in beauty, retail, and social commerce. We are delighted to have her join the We Are Social family,” said Nai Yen Wang, managing director of We Are Social Singapore.

Relocating from Shanghai So brings more than two decades of experience leading blue chip accounts and high-performing teams in Hong Kong and China at agencies including Monks, DDB, Lowe, and McCann. She has also held several senior leadership roles at both network and independent agencies.

So has deep experience working with clients across various industries including FMCG, retail, beauty & personal care, automotive, and technology. Over the course of her career, she has worked with brands such as Burberry, Tiffany & Co., PayPal, Volvo, ABinBev, Estee Lauder, L’Oreal, Nestlé and Unilever.

We Are Social Singapore has a team of 80 people and works with brands including Samsung Mobile, HBO, UOB and TikTok. It is highly regarded for its innovation expertise, from virtual influencer creation to social-first production capabilities, and its in-house development of AI and XR (extended reality) products.
