In celebration of the 50th Anniversary of the Apollo 11 Moon Landing, OREO is releasing lunar themed biscuits!!

50 Years ago, Apollo 11 was the spaceflight that landed the first two people on the Moon. Commander Neil Armstrong and pilot Buzz Aldrin landed the Apollo Lunar Module Eagle on the Moon on July 20, 1969 at at 20:17 UTC. This certainly was a defining moment for America, to show their advancement in technology and resources by taking the next step towards space exploration and in the process establishing superiority over other nations. Today, we have Oreo establishing dominance over other biscuits with their immense range of flavors available that is tailor made for specific countries and occasions while always maintaining the quality and integrity of the biscuit. One such occasion is the 50th Anniversary of the Apollo 11 Moon Landing and Oreo has done justice to this occasion with their Marshmallow Moon Oreos!

Twenty percent of the world’s population watched humans walk on the Moon for the first time half a century ago and now as a celebration to mark the 50 Years, we are graced with Oreo’s Marshmallow Moon Oreos with glow-in-the-dark packing! Yes, you heard that right. The packaging is GLOW-IN-THE-DARK with purple marshmallow creme between two chocolate cookies along with lunar anniversary sticker sets inside the packet. The biscuits will hit the shelves in June for us to try these.

 

Each pack of these Marshmallow Moon Oreos will feature three custom cookie designs that are inspired by the moon landing that includes an astronaut floating in zero gravity, a rocket ship blasting off, and a crescent moon next to three stars. Give me some space cause I cannot wait to try these limited edition Marshmallow Moon Oreos!!
